Join us as we guide you through one of our favorite meals: shakshuka. PLUS invite a friend for free when you sign up and spread the love.
Shakshuka is a very adaptable dish of eggs poached in a harissa-spiced tomato sauce. We’ll teach you how to make your very own harissa at home, which you’ll then use for your shakshuka and for a side of harissa-roasted veggies. And since a meal isn’t complete without a bit of chocolate, so we’ll end things with an unbelievably simple and delicious gluten-free dessert from one of our favorite cookbooks, Zahav: Chocolate Almond Situation.
How it works: We’ll send you the recipes with your list of ingredients one week before class (or: as soon as you sign up after that). Shop for your ingredients before class begins and be prepared to get chopping as soon as class starts! We’ll also send you the recommended cookware for these recipes - don’t worry, everything can be made with the most basic of kitchen set-ups.
In good LA CENA style, we’ll be pairing this meal with one of our favorite operas: La Traviata. We’ll share with you our favorite recording of this iconic piece as we cook together.
